Contemporary society is deeply influenced by mass culture, which manifests itself in various forms, including music, cinema, television, and the internet. These cultural manifestations not only reflect, but also shape social values, norms, and identities. In 'The Postmodern Condition,' the sociologist Jean-François Lyotard discusses the impact of narratives of science, technology, and communication on the understanding of knowledge: 'In the postmodern era, knowledge loses its anchoring in the metanarratives that legitimized it, and increasingly becomes part of an uninterrupted flow of information.' Considering the context of mass culture and Lyotard's reflections, evaluate the role of communication media in the dissemination of cultural values and in the construction of social identities. How do communication media promote the displacement of 'metanarratives' and favor the emergence of new forms of knowledge and identity in contemporary society?

Currently, youth faces several challenges and possibilities regarding the construction of identity and future projects. Considering the dynamics of populations and the multiple cultural, economic, environmental, political, and social dimensions, analyze and discuss: 1) how the mobility and settlement of people influence the formation of the identity of Brazilian youth; 2) how youth cultures relate to the production of different territorialities in contemporary Brazil, and 3) which aspects impact the development of the idea of the future among Brazilian youth.

The current scenario of large metropolises highlights a growing concern about the impacts of human activities on ecosystems and socio-environmental sustainability. Considering this context, reflect on the consequences of the exploitation of natural resources and agricultural activities in communities with different socio-economic characteristics, such as indigenous populations, quilombolas, and traditional communities. Additionally, discuss the role of cultural industry and mass cultures in stimulating consumerism and its socio-environmental impacts. Finally, propose actions that promote sustainability, combat systemic pollution, and encourage responsible consumption.
