An amusement park has just opened a ride called 'Ball Launcher', where visitors try to hit targets by launching basketballs with a giant slingshot. The targets are located at a horizontal distance of 30 meters from the launcher. A visitor is able to apply a force to the slingshot, launching the ball at an initial speed of 20 m/s at an angle of 30° relative to the ground. Considering negligible air resistance and gravity acceleration equal to 10 m/s², solve the following items: a) Determine the initial horizontal and vertical velocities of the ball. b) Calculate the time it takes for the ball to hit the target. c) Find the maximum height reached by the ball relative to the ground during its trajectory.
