Football, considered a national passion sport in Brazil, is widely used as a means of social interaction and also in the political sphere. Furthermore, it is essential to know the rules and positions for a better understanding and practice of this sport. Therefore, what are the four basic positions of football players on the field?

Imagine that you are a detective and need to uncover a mystery about your own body. To solve this mystery, you must pay close attention to the signals your body sends when you move and play. Think about a game or activity that you really enjoy doing, and describe how your body moves during this play. Which parts of your body do you use the most? And what movements can you easily make? Now, thinking about this game, write about a superpower that you would like to have to further improve your ability to move and why this superpower would be important to you.

Volleyball, created in the late 19th century by William G. Morgan in the United States, quickly spread around the world, becoming one of the most popular sports in terms of participation and spectators. With its complex strategies, varied game dynamics, and demand for specific physical and technical skills, volleyball is a sport rich in details. In a volleyball match, reading the game is fundamental to anticipate and react to opponents' actions, and the players' positions on the court play a crucial role in this aspect. Consider a situation where a team is devising its game strategy to overcome a notoriously strong opponent in blocking. The coach, knowing well the capabilities of his athletes, decides to position the middle blocker, who has good blocking ability, in a position that historically offers a tactical advantage in direct confrontation with the opposing opposite hitter, who accelerates his jumping ability. Analyzing the interaction between the laws of physics and the biomechanics of the human body, determine the ideal position of the middle blocker in relation to the net at the moment when the opposing attacker is most likely to touch the ball to overcome the block, considering that both players are in ideal conditions to execute their actions and disregarding any effects of wind or other external variables.

During the last practical class, the 3rd year high school students participated in an 'Ultimate Frisbee' tournament, an invasion sport that combines elements of American football, basketball, and soccer, requiring cooperation and team strategy to advance and score points. Considering the concepts of motion kinematics, where kinematics studies movement purely in terms of space and time, without considering the causes of that movement, the students observed that, to throw a frisbee, it is necessary to calculate the force and direction of the throw, taking into account the distance and wind speed. If a player wants to throw a frisbee, with a mass of 175 g, so that it travels a horizontal distance of 30 m and at a constant height of 2.5 m above the ground, disregarding air resistance and considering the local acceleration due to gravity as 9.8 m/s², what should be the initial velocity of the frisbee at the time of the throw? Additionally, suppose the player is able to apply a constant force to the frisbee during the throw. Calculate the initial velocity required to achieve this feat.
