During the Prehistory, the first human artistic expressions emerged in the context of societies that did not have writing, known as agraphic societies. These manifestations, found in different parts of the world, reflect the daily life, beliefs, and the relationship of man with the environment of that time. For example, cave art is an important record that provides clues about the thinking and social organization of these ancient peoples. It is characterized by figures ranging from simple drawings to complex paintings made in caves and rock shelters, using natural pigments. The analysis of these works allows the observation of changes in techniques and styles over time, as well as revealing fundamental aspects of prehistoric life.

We all like different things, and often this also happens when we talk about drawings, paintings, or sculptures. Visual arts can make us think about various things, such as joy, sadness, love, or even about the place where we live. Have you ever drawn or painted something that made you remember something special or made you feel very happy? Tell me what you created and why it is important or special to you. In our school, we had the experience of participating in a dance group, where we learned to move and work as a team. Think of a dance that you learned or performed with your classmates.
