Imagine you are a time explorer and are visiting different epochs of history. In one of your travels, you arrive at an ancient civilization where people do not have clocks or smartphones to know what time it is or what day they are living in. How would you use the knowledge you have about time, learned in Mathematics, and about the history of calendars, learned in History, to help these people create a way to measure time and mark important days, such as planting and harvest festivals and celebrations? Describe what a clock or calendar you would create for them would be like, explaining what they would mark and how, and talk about the importance of this in community life.
