In our Federative Unit, which is the state where we live, there are different groups of people who came from various places, bringing their cultures and histories. Some of these people are called indigenous because they are descendants of the first inhabitants of our country, and others are of African, European, Asian, among other origins. This mix of cultures is one of the things that makes the place where we live so special. Thinking about this and what you have learned about the people who make up the population of our region, write about how the coexistence among these different ethnic groups can influence the formation of our cities, local customs, and relationships between people. In your text, explain why it is important to value this diversity and how it can help build a fairer and more equal place for everyone.

In a global scenario of concern about climate change and the search for sustainable solutions, renewable energies stand out as an alternative to conventional energy sources, such as fossil fuels. Considering this perspective, (1) explain what renewable energies are and cite three examples of energy sources that fall into this category. (2) Discuss how the adoption of renewable energies can contribute to reducing the economic and socio-environmental impacts resulting from the exploitation of natural resources, paying special attention to local practices and commitment to sustainability. The Southern Common Market (Mercosur) is an international organization created in 1991 by Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay, and Uruguay, with the aim of promoting economic integration among these countries. However, the integration process of the bloc faces considerable challenges both economically and politically. Considering the importance of Mercosur for the region and the complexity of the factors involved in its integration, analyze and discuss the following aspects: 1) Evaluate how the diversity of interests and economic asymmetries among Mercosur members can influence the adoption of common policies in the bloc, highlighting concrete examples of measures that have been hindered or facilitated by these issues. 2) Examine how political changes in the governments of member countries can affect the dynamics of Mercosur's economic integration, considering both changes in political alignment and adopted economic orientations. Specify how a scenario of political instability in one of the countries could impact decision-making and the implementation of internal Mercosur agreements.
