(Unknown author) Based on the excerpt above, answer: a) The author criticizes the press, indicated by the expressions 'Anonymous leaves thrown into the wind of sensationalism' and 'relative truths that the press ends up erroneously disseminating', which suggest manipulation of information. b) The media influences public opinion, being able to educate and raise awareness about relevant issues, but also manipulate and distort facts.
