The car continues at this new speed for another 300 m, until the driver brakes to a stop in a distance of 40 m. Disregarding air resistance and possible variations in gravity acceleration, determine: a) The speed of the car when the driver decides to maintain a constant speed. b) The braking acceleration of the car after the driver decides to brake. Consider the acceleration due to gravity as 10 m/s² and disregard possible variations in gravity acceleration.
