Dynamics: Newton's 3rd Law

Very Hard

(Originais Teachy 2023) - Question Very Hard of Physics

A block of mass m is on a flat, horizontal table, and is pushed by a constant horizontal force of magnitude F. Considering the block as an isolated system, explain based on the principle of action and reaction (3rd law of Newton) how the frictional force between the block and the table relates to the force that the block exerts on the table. Use the concept of maximum static friction force to determine the maximum value of F before the block starts moving, knowing that the static friction coefficient between the block and the table is µ. Consider that the weight force of the block acts vertically downward and that the normal force exerted by the table on the block is perpendicular to the table and has the same magnitude as the weight force of the block.
