Based on these statements, write an essay in which you: 1) Analyze the importance of Homeric poetry in the transmission of values and in the understanding of pre-Hellenistic Greek society. 2) Discuss how the achievements of Alexander the Great and the subsequent Hellenistic period influenced the cultural and social development of regions beyond the traditional Greek world. In your essay, include a reflection on the role of literature and the arts in the dissemination of cultural ideas and practices.
