Medium

(Originais Teachy 2023) - Question Medium of Geography

During the Cold War (1947-1991), the world was divided between two major blocks of political and military power: the capitalist, led by the United States, and the socialist, led by the Soviet Union. Countries that did not align with any of these powers became known as 'non-aligned'. Considering the power relations and political influence existing in this period of global bipolarization, describe three consequences of this scenario for the economic and social development of the countries involved, different strategies of non-aligned countries, and how the rivalry between the two superpowers manifested in foreign policies and indirect conflicts during the Cold War.
