(Originais Teachy 2023) - Question Hard of Sciences

João participates in a physical education class where he learns about the importance of keeping his body moving for his health. During the class, the teacher explains that the human body can be divided into three main parts: head, trunk, and limbs. After the class, João is challenged to correctly identify the structures that make up each of these parts and to explain the function of one of these structures in relation to the chosen practice to stay healthy. João observes that the head is where his 'thought and senses' are located, the trunk is 'the middle of the body,' and the limbs are 'arms and legs.' Based on this explanation, which part of the human body is responsible for balance and posture during physical activities, and which specific structure of this part performs this function?

Plants are very important living beings for our world, and each part of them has a special function. The root helps the plant stay in place and take water from the soil, the stem holds the plant up and carries water to the leaves, the leaves use sunlight to make food, the flower attracts insects and animals to aid in reproduction, the fruit protects the seeds and helps the plant spread. With that in mind, choose a plant you know, like a flower you have at home or a tree from school, and describe a function for each part of that plant: root, stem, leaf, flower, and fruit. Explain why each of these parts is important for the plant to live and grow healthily.

Imagine that you and your family went camping near a lake for the weekend. Looking at the lake, you remembered that the water there could have passed through many places and been in different forms. Think about the sun heating the lake water, it turning into vapor and rising to the sky, the clouds loaded with vapor, and then the rain falling back into the lake. Describe what happens to the water during this journey, from the lake evaporated by the sun to the rain falling back into the lake, and explain the role of the sun in the water cycle.

Exotic and invasive species are those that, due to human transportation, are taken to other ecosystems and end up becoming a non-native species, which can affect local biodiversity. For example, the red swamp crayfish (Procambarus clarkii) was introduced in Brazil in the mid-20th century for food production. What is the biggest risk of this species to Brazilian biodiversity?
