In our city, there are many street names, buildings, and parks that tell a little bit of the history that happened here a long time ago. Have you noticed that some streets have names of heroes, important characters, or even plants and animals? This happens because the people who built the city and those who arrived later wanted to honor and remember things that are special to them. But, how do you think people chose these names and why are these places important to our city? Think and write about a street, a building, or a park that you know and explain why you think that name was chosen and what it can tell us about the history of our city.
