Feedback

Duration: 25 - 30 minutes

Promote a group discussion with all students, where the groups share what they learned during the experience and their conclusions. Use the following script to introduce the discussion: 'Let's share the experiences and learnings from each group. Guide the class to ensure the feedback is constructive and respectful. Explain that each student should mention one strong point of their peer and one suggestion for improvement, ensuring that everyone feels valued and understood. Use phrases like 'You contributed a lot by...' and 'You could improve in...' to guide the feedback.

Furthermore, the conclusion provides a clear and cohesive closure to the lesson, ensuring that key points are revisited and discussed collaboratively.

Summary

Fun Summary of the Lesson:  Summarizing our global journey, we traveled through the corners of the world, exploring how globalization connects New York, Tokyo, São Paulo, and London. We saw how cultures blend, economies interlink, and politics influence each other. Through videos, quizzes, and social media profiles, we dug deep into the transformations brought about by the impact of globalization. Each group brought to light different facets of this global phenomenon, showing that we are all connected, sharing experiences and learning together. 

World Connection

Connecting with the Modern World: The lesson clearly showed how globalization is intertwined with our modern and digital lives. By using social media, online videos, and interactive quizzes, students could see, in practice, how technology facilitates cultural exchange, global trade, and the dissemination of political ideas. We reflected on the digital age, where information circulates quickly and borders become more blurred.

Practical Application

Importance in Daily Life: Understanding globalization helps us navigate an increasingly connected world. Whether consuming products from different countries, connecting with people from varied cultures through the internet, or understanding the economic dynamics that impact our daily lives, knowledge about globalization makes us more conscious citizens ready for the challenges and opportunities of the 21st century.
