Premises: This Active Lesson Plan assumes: a 100-minute class duration, prior student study both with the Book and the beginning of Project development, and that only one activity (among the three suggested) will be chosen to be carried out during the class, as each activity is designed to take up a large part of the available time.

Duration: 15 - 20 minutes

This stage aims to engage students by connecting their prior knowledge of adventure stories with real-life scenarios. By presenting problem-based situations, students will reflect on how the themes and skills learned can be applied outside the classroom. It is recommended that only one of the suggested activities be carried out

Activity 1 - Expedition of Imagination

- Description: In this adventurous activity, students will embark on a creative expedition set in a fictional land filled with mysterious creatures and hidden treasures. The students will collaborate to discuss each scene's importance and how it contributes to the overall story. This activity will not only enhance their understanding of the elements of storytelling but also foster their artistic talents.

- Instructions:

  • Split the class into groups of 5.

  • Provide materials such as paper, markers, and coloured pencils.

  • Ask each group to choose a well-known adventure story or to create their own.
