These advancements, which seem straight out of a science fiction movie, are becoming reality thanks to scientific innovations. However, along with these incredible possibilities, complex ethical issues arise that need to be addressed. After all, who decides what is morally acceptable in science? And what are the consequences of these decisions for society and the environment?

In the 2nd year of high school, we are at a stage in life where we begin to make more independent decisions and think about our role in the world. Understanding bioethics issues helps us reflect on how our choices can impact not only our lives but also society as a whole. By exploring the theme of science and bioethics, we will develop a critical and informed perspective, essential for us to be conscious and responsible citizens.

Did you know that the first cloned sheep, named Dolly, was born in 1996? Although it was a scientific milestone, Dolly's cloning raised many ethical questions about human cloning. Imagine if it were possible to clone a person! What would be the implications for that person's identity and rights? These are some of the dilemmas that bioethics helps us understand and resolve. 
